Stator rubber grommet was created by Mrnlaguna
Good Morning Sixer's Does anyone have a source for the rubber grommet that seals the three yellow wires coming through the case cover from the stator? Mine continues to leak oil even after a thorough cleaning of the wires and the grommet with MEK then a new gasket and liberal amounts of black high temp silicone.
Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike, The grommet you're struggling with is always tough to seal. As you've described getting the oil off of the old grommet and wiring is critical. I've been using Hondabond HT with great results even with an old failed grommet.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Bill, where would we be without Honda,Yamaha,Kawasaki or good old Three Bond! Need to order some on line as I am also building a 72' H2 motor. Used black RTV on the big six's stator grommet after a good de-grease and clean, lasted about a week......back to the drip!

Hey Pete, Mike here, it's been a while since you sent me the info on the Stator wire grommet for the 1300. Do you have any other info on MCG De 1300 in Germany, can't seem to pull them up on my computer, tried re-sealing with no luck.
Thanks, Mike
