Dude in Australia wants $1800 for 6 into 6 exhaust. The system sounds amazing but $1800? How much without the chrome?

Hard to say. About 25 years ago, I used to see many 6 into 6 exhausts on 1300's in Japan. They probably cost about U.S. $1800 in the Japanese domestic market at that time.

Yeah, aren't they something like ridiculously rare anyway? I remember seeing a few older photos of a 6-into-6 set on the big KZ, but nothing any newer. While yeah, it is high, compare it to the hand-made stainless exhaust being sold by a member here for a hair over $2000 (American). Thing is, you're getting a custom product, for custom prices.

To each his own, of course. Would I spend that much for either set? Most likely not. I don't NEED them either though, so.... ;)

The guy in Australia name is Peter Gray - owner of Pipe Masters- all his work is in stainless steel
He has or did have a Z1300 of his own -it did show on his web sight.
Many CBX owners have used his system.
I have had these pipes on my bike for about 4 years. They cost about $1400 back then shipped to Canada. They are the only set ever sent to North America for the Kawasaki.
I only bought the mufflers and used the OEM header pipes, hot jet coated in aluminum - Peter made up a manifold in stainless to go from one into three for each side.
Eventually I will cut the collector box off and make it into a true 6 into 6 but my concern at the time was that without the collector still in place the mufflers alone would be too loud.

Looks awesome man. I'm looking for a used set of 6 into 6. Hopefully one day I'll find a set.I wonder what the price would be if they weren't stainless steel. Exhaust wrap and hi temp paint would work for me.

There are other much cheaper ways to come up with a system that looks good.
Depends on how handy and creative you might be. The mufflers in these photo's appear to be Dunstall copies, made in China , chrome, for about $60.00 each.
This bike was originally a ZN 1300 Voyager.
