I can't remember were this cable was connected. I think it's a ground? Can can some one direct me to where it goes?Thank you

hi it fits on the back off the motor any of the bolts but sort of under the battery but on the engine casing cheers

There already is a ground wire coming off the back of the motor.This particular wire seem a bit too short to reach. Any one can share some detailed pics of that area it would be greatly appreciated,thanks.

Think it goes from the battery to the starter relay, positive power, then a cable from the other side of the starter relay goes down to the starter motor
after tuesday even the calendar goes WTF

No there is a positive already going from the Batt to the relay and then the starter motor. The bike powers up seems to be functioning so far. I still haven't started it. Hopefully when I get to that point every thing should work.Any one else want to take a shot at this?

You are correct about the positive terminals being tied to the starter relay.

On my A-4 the negative battery lead runs from the - post from the battery to the back of the engine case. Near and under the RH side cover.

Like you indicate it's a short lead.
