beertad Topic Author Offline Premium Member Posts: 85 Thank you received: 5	guys thanks all for the warm welcome. also the pics for the switchgear as it makes sense now. i will indeed send a picture of both bikes Bill. my z1000a1 is a 1978 british bike with only 10,000 miles on her. the 13 is as i said a barn find so tatty but all there if you know what i mean. i,m in no hurry as lots of projects on the go but glad to join the club. cheers and thanks tad Tad

I only bought my US 1979 A1 in February, so do know what your going through, when trying to put things right I'm sure you will get some very good advice from the wise old sages on this forum. Your first photo is a EURO UK RIGHT Hand Switch (with throttle cables holes at top).

Second photo is RIGHT HAND USA Switch (throttle cable holes on bottom)

Third & Fourth photos are both LEFT HAND Switches.
