From the reg plate I would say you are in the UK but prices vary from place to place. In Australia it would not be at all uncommon to see a Z1300 in that condition sell for $6000 - $7000.
From the frame number it is a KZ 1300 so to me it means a North American market because elsewhere they were Z1300. If you are indeed in UK then it would be a grey import.

Don't worry about the bigger sump, it's good, I have the bigger sump on my '79, extra oil doesn't hurt, bike looks good, how does it run ??

Well the bike is here in Croatia but is sitting for 5/6 years. I Expect full resto should be done as the current owner spoke about slight 'rattling' of the chains inside engine. Have not yet visitied the guy but my main problem is absolutely no clue how much this project bike could cost. In Germany bikes are listed 5000-8000 k EUR but i think it is hard to sell them for this money. Iassume decent bike could be bought in EU for 5000 EUR. Parts are quite expensive comparing to my old z1000 (1981) so i could easially end up paying much more just for the parts if engine is ' iffy'. But then again.just to look at it parked near the rest of my bikes has also the price;) I plan to offer 2500 EUR. Thx for comments

Bike looks good, a simple cct mod would solve the noisy chain. i would have said your bang on with 2500 eur to start with and see if you get a counter offer.
