Just a quick message to introduce myself

I live in Scunthorpe which is a Steel town near Hull
I started riding in 1977 And have never missed a season since
In 2010 I had some time off work with a burst Appendix which gave me time to decide
What bike I was having next, I had gone off the VFR. And wanted to get a bike I had always liked
Either a Z1000mk2 ( I have had 2 in the past) or a Z1300, so January 2011 I got myself a 1984 ZG1300 A1
(Not the Voyager)

It is presently been stripped so I can get the frame repainted or powder coated

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Owning a Z1300 is not a 5 min wonder, and do take some time to sort out to get on the road. Spares being the major issue.
Took myself 12 months to sort mine out and still a pain in the arse re a few problems. Take a gander in the FAQ section on the site.
A minefield of info.
We all like photos. So when your ready place some on the site for us to drool over. All the best with your restoration.
