Hey all,

Had a bit of a drama the other day, went to leap on the old girl and found that I had no throttle.

Upon inspection I found that the throttle twist grip , where the opening cable is located had broken off, and was allowing the opening cable to flap around in the breeze, instead of pulling and opening the throttle.

Checked the usual places to see if I could get a replacement twist grip, with no luck. I understand these are quite hard to find and if available expensive.

I then proceeded to compare other Kawasaki twist grips to see what could possibly fit. I ended up getting a twist grip from
a 2012 Ninja 650EX, 650L for next to nothing from a wrecker.

After some small alterations, filing where the cables are received, it fit like a glove.

Hope this may help if others have the same issue.
