uhhhh, 0 psi... I need to purchase a small volume air pump. IIRC, the pressure should be between 7 and 10 psi per leg.

Just to add to it: I do have the A1-fork in my Zed which is, according to what experts said, the longest. Due to that it is quite en effort to lift the bike onto the stand. The moment the pressure in the back-tire drops it gets increasingly more difficult up to the point where I can not lift it anymore. That sis the moment when the tire is nearly empty.
So you either had some changes at your fork, or the size/ diameter of the new tire is different.
Hope that helps.
Holger

Rear tire is correct size, AFAIK. I need to research but pretty sure..

And I'll add pressure to both fork legs and see what happens. But not right away, I thew my back out trying to lift to center stand 3 days ago and I'm still fragile.

The "other thing" I should have added to this post yesterday is that you must have modified the center stand to accommodate the DG exhaust because the stock center stand will not work with the DG exhaust so what exactly did you do when you modified it? Did your mod lower the mount of the center stand causing your problem?[/quote]

The CS wasn't modified to fit the DG exhaust. The only addition is a bracket, to stop the CS from contacting the exhaust system when retracted.

Ultimately, me thinks this is the answer. I have a good fab shop 20 miles away. Just may source a used centerstand and get to cutting and welding...

Just like magic! Added a few psi to the front fork. Surprised at the rise in suspension. So, a few psi (actual unknown, need to buy a small pp with gauge, but less than 10) in conjunction with a 3/4" piece of plywood under rear wheel did the trick.!

Thanks All!

Am I reading this correctly?
Should I have air in my front forks (1979 KZ-A1) or is this a mod I don't have on mine?
