Bike has 12000 recorded miles , I've looked at recorded MOTs going back 10 years and bike only has done a few hundred miles each year . What you thinking about re the gearbox noise

Hi , thanks for your comments. The current owner says the gearbox is noisier when the bike is deacelerating , have you heard of this before, what's your opinion, do they all do this ?

I'm wondering if the noise is all-gears ? My '79 2nd gear screamed like the old type police sirens.

Hi viper.recently joined this site myself .I am based in somerset and have just purchased 2 project 1300s ..been restoring \rebuilding bikes for years and always wanted to have a go as the z13..the members on here are very helpful with advice etc..I must get round to posting pictures of my beasts ready for the rebuild progress..cheers Ollie.
