Now Zebulon, you can't tease the boys like this. You have to tell them how you did your fine work on the valve cover. Otherwise everyone's going to be asking "How'd he do that!!"

Well, I deserve just 1/8 of the credit for that part.
It is a relatively clean bike for most parts and the previous owner chromed that cover.

I found this advice in an old mag.

I am reluctant to open the engine, it has never been opened up to now.

Any thoughts about a clogged oil strainer?

i'd say drop the sump and clean it, up to you, bloke I know who works on 13's says he does it once a year, better safe than sorry
