hello all, new member in UK just bought my second KZ1300 ( sold my first one and regretted it ever since ) The bike is a 1979 and has been stood in a shed for 20 year s, a proper barn find but what a mess... got it sparking and carbs are good but will not fire. Think the compression is far too low at around 30 psi will keep you updated

Good find with the bike, i would definitely be stripping the carbs and giving them a good clean after 20 years of standing
you never know who might be living in them

Thanks for the welcome. I am near derby. Carbs are v good. I'm away this weekend but will post pics soon.going to strip engine as compression v low and it will not fire at all
