I recently replaced my rear shock absorbers on my 81, Z1300.

As I only use the bike for general riding purposes, and not anything radical or demanding, I really didnt need anything fancy or over specified or with adjustment I really dont want or need.
After looking at many on offer, the one that kept popping up as a very high value product with very good reviews at a very acceptable price, was the YSS ECO Shocks.
These sell for around £160 including delivery in the UK (Ebay) and have a 2 year warranty included.
I fitted them at the weekend and covered 270 miles yesterday on back country roads and motorways and have to say they have transformed the overall feel of the bike in both feel and handling..........a very comfortable, safe and perdictable ride and support the weight of the bike very well, which many shocks cannot deal with.

I bought mine from Firefox Racing in Yorkshire, who state the springs are ideal for riders between 12 and 16 stone in weight, which is perfect for me, so I fitted them straight out of the box without any adjustment required as the springs are easily adjusted if required. They also suit the look of the bike very well, without making it look like an after thought.

Glad to hear you're happy with these shocks. I chose a different make and style but am equally happy. There's nothing better then a nice, compliant, ride.
Don't know what my Stoned Weight is, however. Seems I can never read the scale, in that condition :woohoo:
