The valve stem in my rear wheel is a straight version and there's not enought room to get an air chuck on it to put air in the tire. I can get an adapter on there (maybe) for now, but for my next tire change I want to install a valve stem with a 90 degree bend. Does anyone happen to know the size (is it hole diameter?) that I need to spec for a replacement stem? (86 ZN1300).

I'm thinking the problem is the air chuck. Never had an issue with this one.

This one would be impossible unless you had a 90 degree valve.

YUP ! I have the same two air-chucks and it's the "shorty" only - that will work ! And now you won't have to re-balance the wheel !:silly:

Yes, the one in the top photo would work; unfortunately, all my local air sources use the type in the lower photo.
