I need to patch these muffler covers up before chroming.

Does anyone know where could I get it done in and around Vancouver?

Could you not pick up some reasonable shape ones from eBay that don't need to be refinished relatively cheap?

Unfortunately nope. I've been keeping an eye on eBay and what I am coming up with is just one side, unfortunately not the side of mine which looks like Swiss cheese. I have to find a replacement for this one first. If I can't, and will need to repair it, then it wouldn't make sense to buy alternative for the other one which doesn't need much to be fixed. Just a couple of holes.
The one on eBay is USD 30 + 18 shipping. Fixing one of mine and having a brand new fresh chrome would cost less than that.
Thinking of it, most likely one bought off eBay would also need chrome plating, so everything would end up even more.

Either way, my hunt for a brazing place and parts on eBay continues.

Hi Stan, buy new stainless ones from us and forget brazing, grinding and re-chroming. www.kawasaki1300parts.com

Hi Lauri. Just before your message I already bought one of them (the upper in the photo) in good shape from eBay..
So now I am thinking about making one good out of those two pictured. Will see how it goes.

In the meantime I am bookmarking your page. :)
