Does anyone know of aftermarket slip-ons to fit OEM headers?

Sorry for link to my CandyButtAssociation blog, but difficult to cut and paste between the two formats.

Lare Nurminen’s friend makes some superb mufflers in sport or standard pattern. Not the cheapest, but they are the best.

I'm going to postulate here and suggest that you're thinking that you want to go back to a double wall header system to reduce the heat at the front of the engine. Quite often the inner pipe rots out and you're back to a single walled pipe. You could consider sending out your DG pipe to  Jet-Hot ceramic Coating and have them ceramic coat the header. Appearance remains the same and header temps will plummet. An alternative you might like to try is  Eastwood's internal ceramic coating . The inside of the header would have to be cleaned out - sandblasting maybe?
Just some thoughts.

Spot-On, KB. Thanks for advice, hadn't thought about ceramic coatings. Contacted Jet-Hot who will hopefully return my call.

Other considerations aka things I don't like about the DG system
  1. Can't remove rear axle unless shocks are unbolted
  2. Incredibly hard to fit 6 headers into collector
  3. Excessive heat into radiator
Was considering heat wrap too, but if ceramic coating isn't to $$$ that might be the way to go....
