Hi all,

I am getting myself an Acewell speedo and it comes with a temp gauge, but that needs to have its own sensor to get the right readings. So the original one needs to come out and a new one needs to go in.

I have measured the sensor thread and it is 16mm diameter, but does anyone know the pitch? My manual vernier is not accurate enough to measure this....

According to page 39 of the manual, it is 16 x 1.5 Paul.

May not be worth the effort but if you're taking the OEM sensor out anyway, you could pop the old and the new into water of various temperatures, measure the resistances, and see how much different they are - might be able to cheat by adding some resistance either in series or parallel.

You can select the input range on the Acewell anyway iirc the original sender is 0 to 100 ohms? I opted to use their sender anyway, with a brass adaptor.

I'll stick with theirs as then if it doesn't work for some reason its not my fault..
