Bingo. The bike is up and running at long last. The problem appears to be in the ig unit where some carbon had built up on the panel causing a short, cleaned off and plugged in and up she fired as the scope test proved that the pick ups fine. Shall find out more details this week when I pick up the bike and report back with the full details.
Did order from Lauri Nurminew a new unit just in case mine had gone belly so I have a spare.

Just need to get bike back fit the tank, pump up the tyres and get a MOT and on the road at last Hopefully.
