I really wanted to like Li batteries, so bought two for my FJR's. Total waste of $$. Both the 2006 and 2013 had slow cranking, semi-cold weather slowed cranking speed even more. And the batteries are not 'as advertised, CCA speaking. They can really deliver current for a brief period of time but suck at delivering over the long haul.

Pretty good video

Enjoyed the video Don. thanks. Interesting how the LiFePo4 battery manufacturers rate their batteries as "lead acid equivalent" , but in fact they are not. More fake information we have to listen too. Maybe with all the work going on with EV vehicles, we'll see more advancements with "battery like" storage cells and maybe that will trickle down to the motorcycle industry. For now, I think lead acid or AGM will keep us happy.

Enjoyed the video. Unfortunately my LiFePo4 battery was back in the bike so I couldn't check the 9A vs 3A, but I guess mine is same.

Having said that, apart from this non-charging issue, it has not let me down (yet) in the past two years. London does not freeze, so no cold starts really and cranking is superb. I chose it mainly for its size and ability to crank the big engine...

Agreed. I've since learned to measure the battery box then stuff it with the largest Li battery possible, ignore the 'fake amp' ratings... Go big.
