Bucko yeah its a shame that the Kawasaki did not want to just replace the alternator. Wow I always hold the Japanese for traditionalist and also for being responsible for what they do, but anyway. The bike must have cost a fortune in that time.. it was also top machine on the road, even today when I wait at the traffic lights, and next to me are standing other modern day bikes despite the age of the Kawa, I know despit its weight, that it have exactly what it takes.. just in case someone start playing with throttle before they pull away.

Stocktoy I notice too, when I ride hard it burns a lot more oil than it normally would. Riding hard I mean taking engine from 5500 to 8500 rpm, rarely little more, the last one only when I test how it pulls away or so, when doing some adjustments. Thanks for the input.
