A PO of my ZN bypassed the kickstand switch. Not sure why he did that unless the switch was faulty but I checked it with a meter and it seems to be working although there is a small amount of resistance when switch is 'closed'. Not sure if this is normal or not (seems to me a clean switch would show zero resistance when closed). The switch does not appear to be disassemble-able for cleaning. Has anyone found a way to clean the internal contacts of the switch?

I took the jumper wire that bypassed the switch out, connected the switch circuit back up and everything appears to work as intended. Not sure why someone would ask to have the switch bypassed - a previous owner did - maybe they enjoyed riding away with the kickstand down. :)
