Human race, when you look at it objectively, is like mold. A cancerous growth on Earth.

I couldn't agree more ! Our planet is fighting back in a desperate attempt to rid us from itself. "Mother" Earth is "eating" us in an attempt to restore the balance of nature for the greater good of the Natural Balance! !

Effing right scotch! Glad you chip in and agree. It's quite simple actually. You just can't really shape the earth - it's not a plasticine ball in your hand;s palm! But humans are known for their arrogance, and that's their biggest downfall.

I visited Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia. It's 4000 meters above the sea level. I took pictures with fossilized marine corals there. And what did we drive on - a 274 meters of dry salt flat surface left after that area raised from under the sea, and dried out. Just imagine how deep the sea was, to make a 274 meters layer of salt after it evaporated, and now at 4 kilometers above the current sea level!!???

What I am trying to say is quite simple. And it is this: this we are panicking about is tragedies on personal level, for the planet it's nothing. This recent period is just a hickup. A burp. You can't afe the planet with you stupid climate changing gimmicks! Where is Greta now when just a couple months of no cars make all air clean? The planet will, as it always did, take care of itself. And survive. 65 millions of dinosaurs living on earth came to an end. The 10 roughly thousand of human years and no we are told how to take care and control the wellbeing of the planet? How stupid can you be to fall for that???

Yep, do all the changes, but I bet you - humans will never dig another Mariana Trench, or create another Himalayas. Will never create another moon or a star. The laws of the universe rule, and all the rest, except some obvious understood instances, is a mystery and not up to us. Want it anyway you want, like you said scotch, the planet will take cafe of itself and be here long after all humans with their marvels are long gone.

Well, it was no surprise today when it was announced on all the news networks that Dr. Anthony Fauci is now clearly in Trump -the Gut's cross-hairs ! No surprise at all. Seems as though "the White House" has had enough of Dr. Anthony's facts, recommendations and specifically, fore-casts. The doctors comments over the weekend suggesting that the top officials in Washington knew of the seriousness of C-19 earlier then they acknowledged and went ignored, have now predictably upset poor Donald. Dr. Fauci is also on record, addressing the use of hydroxychloroquine - yet to have received any clinical data to support it's effectiveness. This flies in the face of "the Gut", who is strongly advocating it's wide-spread use with no concern about it's potential contraindications.

This is a clip from a recent news report:
A Brazilian study that saw 81 coronavirus patients given chloroquine was ended early after some of them developed irregular heart rates, according to The New York Times. Chloroquine is closely related to hydroxychloroquine, which President Trump has promoted as a potential treatment for the novel coronavirus despite little evidence of its efficacy. The Brazilian study in the city of Manaus saw half the study participants given a dose of 450 milligrams of chloroquine twice daily for five days, while the rest were prescribed a higher dose of 600 milligrams for 10 days. Within three days, researchers started noticing heart arrhythmias in patients taking the higher dose. By the sixth day of treatment, 11 patients had died, leading to an immediate end to the high-dose segment of the trial. The researchers said the study did not have enough patients in the lower-dose portion of the trial to conclude if chloroquine was effective in patients with severe disease.

If "Shoe Designer" Fauci told Trump that it wasn't required to tie his laces because the runners used Velcro........ Trump would tirade-TWEET that he is the real expert on shoes, knows more then Fauci, that Fauci is a "bad person"...and blah, blah blah. If trump could see past his 'Gut", he'd still rant-on that the Velcro is Fake News, a witch-hunt and then go tangent with his typical fall-back position using Hillary and Biden as the distraction.
Trump's real target for the "next to go" should be the White House's Navy Cadet, who is constantly holding up a sign of "recommendations", every time he's asked to respond to a C-19 question.
I fear the U.S's mismanagement of this health care crisis, in spite the absolute heroism of it's front-line workers, is going to drag-out this epidemic, globally, for far longer then if it were managed correctly.
Aside from Dr. Fauci , I'll trust Dr. Theresa Tam (Federal Health ) and Dr. Bonnie Henry (British Columbia), any day; to the "Cluster F*^@K" that's being orchestrated below the 49th. That's rhetorical I guess, considering "the Orchestra" has no conductor.

Can't help but think of "The Titanic".

FUX NEWS: President Trump has announced today that after an exhaustive investigation by his top advisors and marine experts: "We have concluded that there was no iceberg, the boat has merely been delayed by some "Nasty" weather, has not completely sunk and should be arriving in port, any day.

I watch Dr. Isaac Bogosh every morning on CP24 news ( a local Toronto TV station) The question was asked if we had hit the summit for new cases. The answer was that there has been no obvious summit so far but more of a steady rise in new cases along with a steady release of cured patients so as it stands right now, we appear to be in a good position to manage the new cases as they come in. The hospitals still have room available. It would appear that we've managed to get the physical distancing in place soon enough to have been effective. Fingers crossed that we manage to maintain this controlled management.

Toronto police have been issuing fines to the tune of $800 a piece for people not obeying the 2 meter distancing and congregating by laws. Last week the police were cautioning people and telling them to move along. It's now come to the crunch and no more tolerance for those who wish to push the issue.
Also reported this weekend was apartment building visitor parking lots were full which would indicate people still allowed themselves to visit family and friends over the Easter Weekend. I would expect the bylaw officers will now be monitoring those parking areas as well. Why can't people just get with the program?

More than 1/2 of the approximately 700 deaths in Canada have been related to elderly in long term care facilities and attributed to the staff working in multi facilities.

More interesting information now starting to come out.
When you think about it, catching a virus typically results in feeling ill. You may seek medical attention depending on how sick you get. Usually the doctor will take a culture swab and send it off and wait for the results before prescribing medication since antibiotics have no effect on virus'. The doctor will typically tell you that you have a virus and it will have to run its course.
So you go home and rest until your body has overcome the virus, then you carry on saying "Thank God that's over" Usually there's no long term effects from catching the virus.
Long term effect of this corona virus are now starting to emerge. Lung damage including fibrosis to the point that some patients which were taken off of respirators have developed acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), a severe lung condition in which fluid collects in the lungs' air sacs. "In China, some patients eventually needed to be on an ECMO life-support machine, to temporarily support the patients while they regain lung function," he said. "However, some of them may never regain lung function." ECMO machines, remove the blood from the body, oxygenate it and then return it to the body. For people who are put on a mechanical ventilator, it's likely to be several months to a year before they recover full lung function, he explained. Some may never recover that functionality.
Brain fog verging on dementia now being reported.
Heart damage due to lack of oxygen for extended periods of time.
If there ever is a reason to support this physical distancing which includes no family or close friends visiting this is it. If you catch this virus, it's not a one shot deal and it's over. It will be a one shot deal and its game over for most.

Stay Safe. Stay Home.
