You got Veggies??? Geez !! I wouldn't be telling everyone that. They know where you live.
We have a local butcher who works with a local farmer who raises Black Angus pasture fed and grain finished. Then off to a local abattoir for slaughtering. After inspection the meat goes to the butcher and is hung for 23 days to tenderize before cutting and wrapping. Doesn't get any better than that.
As for the veggies- everything over here comes from Mexico unless it's in the months of July- September (then from Holland Landing Ontario) so let's not mess up the "North American Free Trade Agreement" which got renamed the US, Mexico, Canada Free Trade Agreement (USMCA) according to the Americans. Interestingly enough when you go to the Canadian Government website it refers to the agreement as the " Canada-United States- Mexico free trade agreement (CUSMCA) I wonder what Mexico calls it?? I'd go to the Mexican government website but my Espanol is nonexistent , Si ??

Maybe it's not worth the paper it's written on since they can't even get the title right on the government websites. LMAO !!

Kawboy, You just think you know where I live ! :woohoo:
Similar to you, my secret location gives my community the luxury of having most of our produce, pork beef and poultry grown locally. My significant other is very leery of anything from Mexico. She worked for 17 years at a major grocery outlet. Her experience there plus the now all too common listeria and salmonella recalls has tainted (pun intended) her opinions and preferences regarding her choices.
Still having a terrible time trying to source free-range Bats

Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman (I) says that she wants to reopen the city's casinos, restaurants and entertainment venues for business so people can get back to work. But it not up to her to determine just exactly what needs to be done to do that safely. It's up to the establishments to put in place whatever they feel is appropriate and convince the clients that what they provide is safe for them to carry on in that establishment. Really???

Insanity .

Check out this chart which should put a more balanced perspective on this pandemic. Also look at the numbers of deaths caused by the Wuhan Flu compared to seasonal flu caused deaths. Also please notice that the USA has had fewer per capita deaths than any country except for Germany. The source is here: www.realclearpolitics.com/

And on the same site you'll see the Hot Spots in the USA are tracking 5 times higher than the average in the USA.

This is the part that terrifies me. If we don't keep up with the physical distancing, this is where we are headed and if we can't contain all this foolishness, the word pandemic will take on a whole new meaning.

There are now new scientific medical studies being reported that indicate the inflictions this virus can impose on the body is surprising all of the experts. Permanent damage to organs, lethal clotting, among a list. People showing up in the E.R.'s exhibiting shocking low O2 levels which is creating a complte rethinking about the use of ventilators, which can actually do greater harm to the already stressed lungs.
It appears the duration of this crisis is going to extend much longer then anyone anticipated because everyday another previously unknown characteristic of c19 manifests.
If we don't get a handle on this right now we're in for a world of hurt and I have a personal concern that this "bug" is going to mutate and throw us a curve ball that will be impossible to hit !
So to those idiot, gun-totting, anti-vax, work or die morons (everywhere) who are deliberately spreading this virus in their irresponsible, selfish & infinite wisdom to exercise their "Constitutional" rights: Consider your actions and the inevitable consequences of your stupidly. And when you do get sick - die at home...... and not waste the already over-stressed resources being used to treat those who did follow the rules and unfortunately need this critical attention, despite their personal best efforts.
Darwinism working for a better humanity !
