Dang ... just checked, I'm out of grip glue, any other stuff we can use like contact glue ?

Might try something tacky but non-permanent. Like rubber cement or silicone?

I used to use the stuff sold as 'grip glue' & actually didn't find it very good. Someone recommended hairspray to me ...I was dubious, but trust me, it works! ;)
Spray copious amounts on the handlebar & on the inside of the grip, this acts as a lubricant to get the grip on, then as the hairspray evaporates it leaves behind a sort of lacquer which sticks the grip fast :) I used it to secure the Renthal grips on my 13 some years back & they won't budge :)

Phil me mate, thanks, I had never heard about hair spray, great idea, i'll go get some and give it a go, that's what I love about swapping ideas, you learn something that you can tell others about, the major problem with my grips is that I steer a lot because of the sidecar, so I need something that will hold, thanks again, cheers Pete.

Because I switch my bike between A2 and B2 from time to time I have to get the grips off so I can get the left hand switch gear off when I swap handlebars.

I've been trying to find some black CNC ally ones with rubber grip inserts that are the correct length but don't look like they belong on a hog. In other words not too custom. Most I've found are too short.

Anybody seen any?
