The rally took place in Kuopio, central Finland, as part of the Finnish Japanese MC club meeting.
We had visitors from Sweden and Germany and a lot of Finnish 1300 bikes. Total amount of bikes, including day visitors was 35 bikes. ( 1300s and Voyagers)
I have also dug up statistics of the total amount of 1300s registered in Finland, 428 pieces!
And there are a lot of projects waiting for restauration. We think that the total is around 1000 pieces.
On Saturday we drove about 150 km tour which included salmon soup lunch at a beautiful stream.
The longest trip prize went to Peter from Germany who rode 3026 km to come to the meeting!
Builder award was given to Wilfried Buchsenschutz of Germany.

428 KZ1300's on the roads in Finland? Wow! That's huge! And with a total number of a 1000 frames, I'd jump the gun and assume that Finland would be the number one country when it comes to the highest KZ1300 count.

I hope to attend one day one of the European rallies. With bike or without.
