rough idea of timescale to remove a motor guys. i have a engine crane

Hi,

Removed and refitted many 1300 engines in my time.

Once carbs, exhaust, cam cover, sump, oil pick-up, wiring etc are removed, I found it easiest to have 2 or 3 (adult) people at hand and just "wriggle" it out from the side onto a pallet or similar. This should then not take more than 20 minutes to remove from frame.
I personally remove as many parts from the engine as possible to make it as light as possible to remove (engine casings, starter motor ignition pick-ups etc).
Its not a very difficult job.

Just removed mine for a refurb. Took me a few days until I was ready to remove it from the frame I took my time though and referred to the manual.
