Hi .had a great ride last weekend to the west coast of the south island if you ever get a chance to ride these roads they are some off the best you will ever travel .

and people over there seem to have a good taste concerning motorcycles ...

Now THAT's what I like to see. A bunch of good ol' boys out playing on the streets. No snow on the ground.....(wonder what that's like @#$@!$#) This global warming is really messing things up. It's April here and we're just breaking through the freezing temperatures. REALLY late for us.

Kiwi, Did you repaint the bike in Candy Glory Red? And why is it hiding from me at the back of the pack? You're such a tease ! Fess up. you've got another pic taken from the other end right?

Now that is a REAL line up of REAL bikes.......most of which I have owned myself over the last 40 years !!

If I had arrived at that scene, I thought I would have died and gone to heaven !!

Quality, choice and good taste cannot be replaced with anything else !!

That's quite a spectacular collection of bikes. Other than being nearly vintage what sort of group comes together for these rides? I see two CBX's, a CX 650, a KZ900 perhaps it's a Z1, A water buffalo, A Kawasaki GPZ??? and an RD 400. How about it, how did I do?

Any chance you could post some pictures of these south island roads?
