Hi all,

Thought Id let you guys know, I have now bought myself another 1300 after looking for a long time to find the right one.

Its a 1979 KZ1300A1 model in 99% original condition with only 15k genuine miles and has been stored in a warm dry garage in Arizona USA until June 2018 when it arrived in the UK. Although I say so myself, it is in remarkable original condition and even all the nuts and bolts still have the original Zinc coating and are untouched and all original paintwork and exhaust system !
Its been at least 5 years since I owned a 1300 (this is my 9th across 35 years as I recall) and well worth waiting for as good original examples are now very hard to find here in the UK.
Good to back on a 6.

Regards

Thanks for reply !

This one is an investment purchase for me just to keep as original and standard as safe and possible, so no plans for anything else but Camchain Tensioner mod etc.

Great news, Pete! It's good to see you back. Looking forward to seeing some photos. but with your previous history for making modifications, how will you resist changing it from standard?

Thanks for kind replies, but this one is just so good, original and standard I feel it would be wrong to personalize it in anyway as they are fast becoming motorcycle history and need to be preserved as much as possible. Its nearly 40 years old now !
