To all the guys going to the 1st Z1300 Finland rally:

I wish you a good trip, lots of fun and interesting people to meet. I know that presently two Germans are on their way. Lothar & Edgar are already on their way from the South of Germany.

Looking forward to hear about it from other sources.

The Finnish Rally was very good. We had total appearance of 45 Kawasaki 1300s, of which 24 were from other countries and 21 local bikes. Would have had more but the camping site was sold out! The largest team was Denmark, 8 bikes and 11 persons, then groups from Sweden, Norway and Germany.
The longest arrival distance was by Werner Böhm from Germany, 1107 kilometers (688 miles) and the Peoples Choice was a Finnish Turbo version with 200+ HP.
The owner had ignition box failure just before the meeting, one channel down. He rigged a Z1000 box beside the original and got to the meeting with the combined system, great innovative engineering.
The local village arranged space for us to gather for pictures, the two enclosed ones are from Ruovesi.
Next years meeting will take place early June 2019, reserve time for coming here!

Congratulations to that many Zeds, looks like the weather has really been with you.
