I've had a listen and to me it sounds clunky around the bottom of the camchain tensioner area, I'm no expert but definately sounds thereabouts, I may swap back to the old CCT as it certainly wasn't faulty

Did a couple of short runs, dropped the oil twice and changed the filter, both times a bit more shredded rubber came out in the oil, the second time with a curved piece about an inch long and 3mm thick, don't know if I'm flushing old debris out or creating more with each run, presume it's bits of the lower wheel the tensioner presses on and unsure how much wear it could take before being a big problem

Didn't think about that, will keep running and draining this week and see what happens. On the plus side it felt like riding a new bike the few miles I did so very happy with everything else.

the black rubber wheels on the CCT have been know to shred once they get older
found this on an old post
as a test you could remove the CCT and measure the depth of the hole to the wheel assembly
give it a few runs and repeat the procedure. might give you some idea if its the wheel breaking down of something else, or remove the top cover
and shine a torch down the hole, with a mirror look at the wheel if pos.
a lot of sodding around i know.
