I like the way they have put louvred vents in to make it seem like it's solving a problem, I rode a Goldwing 1200 before the 13 for financial reasons, I enjoyed the bike but kept seeing these things and thinking WTF is that all about.

I had a wing with chrome brake covers. Fine on a wing but not so much on a 1300 IMO

Too many of you are being very diplomatic - So I'll say what we're all thinking. They look shit!

I will be very surprised if a single pair are purchased for a Z13

I am 100% with zed-thirteen here, they look crap.

They will also stop the air flow past and through the calipers which "could" affect the braking efficiency.

One of the great asthetic looks on many bikes and cars including the mighty 1300 are the appearance of important components like calipers, carbs, filters, etc, etc............take them away or cover them up with flat shiney metal covers and you loose character and style which makes the bike look boring and mundane..........ugh !

Just look at a Harley or Fake Jap Harley thingy with all its bling chrome and flat sided smooth designs and you will see what I mean.
