Thats very similar to the one on mine, and it does sound good, I suppose the 13 sounds good no matter what you put on it B) Not exactly sure what I want yet but half the fun is experimenting until you get a big grin on your face..then you've done it and it doesn't matter if others don't agree

KZA1300 it is tricky to get a decent recording of bike exhausts while moving because of the wind in the mic... plus its hard to get the input level set correctly so it is loud but not too loud. Many portable recording devices don't allow you to adjust the input gain.

That being said your second vid is better and your bike sounds good. But then again the 1300 is a great sounding bike :)

I think the best way to record the sound is with a friend filming a long approach and pass from the roadside.

Whenever I film onboard the wind noise is dreadful

Not only what he used, but how the heck did he get a camera that low and behind the bike, what sort of mount or bracing was used, I see it did move closer to the tyre :-)
after tuesday even the calendar goes WTF
