I had a very, very near miss on Sunday whilst out on my modern bike: I was not speeding, lights on, clear visibility etc. , when a cretin in a Mercedes thought it was a good idea to try an illegal u turn infront of me - I honestly think without ABS and the lighter weight (or had I been on my Z13) that I would have been eating hospital food for a wee while. Still, a quick sit down, a cuppa and a change of underwear, and all was again well with the world.

I realised however that my scare was nothing, when yesterday I came across this clip on youtube: this is a proper near miss for the couple on the bike: makes you remember how vulnerable we are out there on 2 wheels !
