Hi, after many other problems associated with bike being left and not run for many years, for example starter motor corroded, fuel pump knackered, injectors blocked, water pump oil seal gone now she is finally running on 6 its running far to rich plugs very sooty also the fast idle does not work, it does not appear to be pushing on anything any ideas and help would be very much appreciated

Make sure the check valve that's screwed into the bottom of the fuel tank isn't stuck closed or semi-seized as that will cause over-fuelling.
