On my carb model Zeds I periodically check they arein balance, can this be done on a DFI 1300, if it can is it an easy task, or should I let a shop do it,
The reason I ask is that I have just had the injectors cleaned and the have made a big difference in everything accept tickover the bike sounds exactly how an out of balance motor does

Section 2-5 of the ZN1300 Service Manual - Engine Vacuum synchronization. Pretty straight forward. 3 vacuum gauges with hoses will do the job..

Apologize in advance for the slight hijack....

Can some one post the size of the sync ports (i.e. which set of motion pro carb synchronizer adapters are required for a FI model)

Fiche show a 6x18 bolt for CA model (I think CA means California) and a 6x65 bolt for non-CA models which seems really weird. Both show as 'unavailable' which is also really weird (AFAIK they're just common flange bolts - although I think they're chromed- which could be the reason they show as NLA).

Edit: 130A (6x65) is a totally different bolt.

Carb models:
They are flanged, same shape like brake rotor bolts except smaller size of course. Correct, they are chromed and the washers underneath are made from aluminum. Bolt thread length is 10 mm.
