It's a clean looking ride. Not 100% original but nice enough to be proud of, so let's talk money.
$5000 Euro's = $5500 US dollars= $7500 Canadian dollars.
We have 2 KZ1300 for sale in Canada right now and they are similar bikes. running state and clean. 1 is $4500 and the second 1 is $5000 Canadian
$4500 Canadian dollars = $3000 Euro's
$5000 Canadian = $3339 Euro's
Maybe I'm just getting old and starting to be one of those guys bitching about "the price of things."
I needed to get the hood on our 2017 Mercedes Benz painted because of stone chips. That same job I had done 5 years ago on a Lincoln MKX for $500. The same body shop just quoted me $1700 for the same work.
I also needed the front bumper touched up because it has a scuff on the right front corner. A little damage to the clearcoat and minor scratch in the basecoat.
"Just blow it in" I said.
" Nope. We don't make our body men work on the floor. The bumper has to come off and repaint the entire bumper." they replied.
Another $2000 for that work.
Kawboy's going to get some touch up paint and dab it in himself. $50 and more time not working on my bike. That's life. @!#$@!#$!@#$@!#$!
Then there is a guy on EBay offering exchange body panels for a naked bike (fuel tank, side panels and tail piece) for $1400 USD = $1900 Canadian. I bought House of Kolor paint to do my bike for $600 Canadian and I'll paint it myself.
I follow the Catawiki auction page, although I have never bought anything, I only bid on a motorcycle once and because it was being auctioned in Spain.
This KZ 1300 came up for auction for the first time with a direct purchase price of 9,700 euros.
Two deserted auctions later it is at this price.
