Just something to think about and do your research.

Some "High Temperature Paints" have ingredients to dissipate heat and some have ingredients to contain heat. Anything listed as an engine enamel will have properties to dissipate heat.
I've been doing a fair bit of research on "coatings" at  Cerrakote  and if you follow the "Shop" tab, then "Coatings", then go down the left side, they have a tab called "Special Attributes". You'll find coatings with either high thermal emissivity (the ability to give off heat), or low emissivity (the ability to contain heat)
KawaBCN, You have selected a high temp paint that has the ability to withstand 690 deg C. and that's in the range of exhaust header paint and I wonder if it's able to dissipate heat like what you want. You need a paint that will dissipate heat from the crankcase because there's no oiler  to cool the oil
This is the review of the technical sheet of the paint I bought.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Very fast drying.
- Good hardening.
- Good flexibility.
- Scratch resistance.
- Good adhesion.
- Does not contain lead.
- High covering power.
- Color durability.
- Ease of application and repainting.
- Thermostability. Resistance to high temperatures above 690ºC.
- Adheres perfectly to other anti-heat paints.

APPLICATIONS
Indicated for parts or surfaces subjected to different stages of thermal shock.
- Industry - Maintenance - Stoves
- Boilers - Fluid conduits
- Automotive. Engine blocks, exhaust pipes.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Shake the spray very well before use, approximately one minute after
hearing the noise of the mixer.
- Apply on clean and dry surfaces. On rusty metal surfaces:
Remove corrosion with a wire brush.
- Apply in thin layers for best results, always better
three thin coats than one thick coat, repaintable after ten minutes with
the same painting.
- Do not apply to connected equipment and use in well-ventilated areas.
- Request security sheets.

The painted engine already looks better.

If I can't start the motorcycle, I will place it as an ornament in the living room of my house, between the grand piano and the fireplace.

It's inspiring to watch your progress and judging by what you've posted, the bike will start up after a couple of cranks. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing it all complete.

took me less than 30 seconds to find using the "Search" tab.
Search for word(s) " Petcock" posted by "KawaBCN" He linked the purchase from Amazon.com and the description in Amazon says it fits the 1978 and 1979 GS1000 Suzuki
