I am trying to remove my kz1300a water pump cover - to no avail. anyone know how to get it off tried everything i can think of

very carefully.
it has an O ring .
im assuming you have slid the bypass pipe down then gently with a plastic mallet tap the cover from each side
if that dont work you will have to try and pry it out. DONT BREAK IT.. they are getting rare..
sorry if thats not much help, there is no set way to do it.
