All this info is probably on here somewhere but I cant see it so I will ask again, my question is with the 79 z1300 are all the wheels, forks, blinkers, footpegs, centre and side stand and steering triple tree or what ever they are called painted in a satin black with the frame done in gloss black ?

Well bugger me I really cant say only been looking at it for 37 years. I am fairly sure the forks are a satin finish as are the wheels. I have a feeling the stands were gloss like the frame.

looks great Holgar B) by the look of it your forks are done in a satin if I am correct but couldn't make out the brackets that holds the light and fits to the forks, is that a gloss or a satin?

Mine is an original bike although the lower forks do look pretty good so may have been painted at some stage but I doubt it ??

Brackets are satin

Forks are gloss on mine

Cheers Ted
