Hi,
I'm Mike, and a complete motor-head. I love vintage cars (or not so vintage) and motorcycles of all types and countries of origin. I just posted a little about my Voyager project, with a tip you might already be aware of, but thought it was worth mentioning since parts are getting harder to find for these bikes. The pick-up coil from a Suzuki SP500 will work if you want to replace just one of the three pick-up coils on the 1300 engine.

Hi guys, I'm Carlos from Spain, I have a 81 z-1300 model slightly modified, Thanks to the original David site this bike is now running almost perfectly.

The main mods are the ones indicated by David, plus a large custom radiator (definitive) also change the head light (round type) and clocks (z1-900)

Hi Pete,

You stole that bike at $800.00!

Good Score!

Hi all

I'm Billy from Scotland, UK. I've got a 1979 Z1300 and a 1980 KZ1300 both bought last year. The Z1300 I got in full working order while the KZ1300 needed a bit of work - still does.
I spent many a night reading through the old kz1300.com site and look forward to doing the same here.

The best bikes Kawasaki ever made.....by far.

cheers

Billy :)
