This is a great time to discuss the use of "Copper Anti-Seize" on certain nuts and bolts on motorcycles.
Copper Anti-Seize prevents dis-similar metal corrosion and for those fasteners that are directly exposed to the elements (Road Spray) for the next time they have to be removed.
Works great for spark plugs too.
