Thanks a lot, Toddh, great piece of advice. While not ready to go into XXI century with my Rhino forks yet, :silly: I guess I'll stick to fork fluid and your recommended brands. I guess 10w is a good weight choice (?) and I'll double check all the other parts in there as well. I will keep you posted, guys! Best regards

I use 15w fork oil as I found the 10w stuff a bit thin. The front end was a bit spongy with 10w but not now. I used Putoline HPX15 Synthetic 15w.

Just reviewed the factory shop manual and it says 10wt to 20wt oil. I would second what Zoso says. 15wt would be a good start. The shear weight of the bike alone would require a heavier wt oil.

Just a suggestion.

Good info! If you're pulling yours apart you should do a how to if there isn't one already somewhere. It would be helpful for when I do mine. :)

Sorry, Roadhazardboy, job already done when you posted... By the way, 15w has been nice so far, a bit stiff but no problem for my 230 pounds. Put in 10 lbs of air pressure also. Great handling!
