Well, if anyone is interested my brakes are back together. Rust and scale inside the master brake cylinder. After a good cleaning and honing all is well. The seals were fine and reusable. The only thing I can't fix is the external dust boot. Both bikes have tears in them.

Good on you mate, glad to hear you got it all fixed, as for those dust boots ... finding these hard to get parts is half the fun, a "quest" if you want to call it that, sort of like looking for the Holy Grail :-), it's great when you finally find it, cheers
