I've always thought that because the switch block is made of metal, why couldn't it be engraved deeply, then the grooves could be filled with paint, and then level them off and re-paint the black back on ???, I only think that would be good because of our aussie sun, stickers would bleach and / or peel off down here, just a thought, cheers Pete.

Gav, long time no speak - happy new year mate: hope to see your resplendent shiny Z13 in spring.
Re decals: might be of zero interest but I know that Yamaha do different font face switch transfers: you might get lucky and get a match.

Just a thought, but when I did the switches on the VMax resto, I ended up using Letraset tansfers of an identical font, than a light cover of satin lacquer: not perfect but good enough for me, and close to original finish (if a little bit wonky). That said it was an absolute pain in the a4se to get right - but at £5 a sheet of letters it was cheap as chips.

Cheers Tim
