A flashing 12 volt LED connected to the output of the fan relay will not only alert you to when the fan comes on automatically but also flashes when the fan has been turned on "manually". This makes it less likely you'll walk away from the bike with the manual switch left on.

A very good idea! I've been fighting an overheating condition since engine rebuild and fully recognize the need for a manual fan switch..
