I'm due for an oil change and have been running the kaw oil for a long time, it's very costly though so was wondering if there was a cheaper alternative

I run AMSOIL 10W 40. Costs me about $9.20 a quart but I like what it does for the bike.

I believe that the latest standard is SJ but what ever you choose it needs also to be labeled "MA". The "MA" basically assures you that it doesn't have friction modifiers that can cause a wet clutch to slip.
