Thanks guys for the information. I my going to start with replacing the stator and regulator (Part #: ESG010, Part #: ESR470). I do wish they would put more technical data about their products on the website. I have already installed a voltmeter in the fairing next to the radio so I can track the charging state - NO fun along the side of the road with a low battery!! After I replace the parts I will measure the charging capacity of the system and the vehicle current draw then decide next steps. Lights are a beautiful thing as tackelhappy stated just to be as visible as possible. As always; will update with progress.
