Does anyone else here have the Z1300 A4 or A5 model? I just received a replacement R/R as the original one sent was faulty and I have noticed it has two 4 pin connectors. My knowledge tells me that the one with two 4 pin connectors is pre A4 model.

Can I modify this to connect to the 6 pin connector or should I find one with the 6 and 4 pin connectors?

If I can't modify does anyone know where I can get the correct R/R from?

Didn't the A4/A5 models have the dual stators? That may be why there's the wiring discrepency. If so, and it were me, I'd try to find one specific to that model. But, I don't know enought about elctricity to know for sure, so hopefully an expert will come along before too long.

Pretty sure dual stators are only on the American and Canadian models the Australian models only have the right side stator.
