This may be a dumb question but I need to find out whether the cooling fan blows out through the rad or sucks in.

I need to run a bypass until I diagnose why my fan isn't coming on at the proper temperature. The fan works fine so I figure I need a relay or temp sensor, both of which I have to order.

The fan is behind the rad and pulls air through the rad.

Simple test, if you jumper the lead on the fan switch to ground and the fan comes on, then the fan relay is good and the fan switch is the culprit. If the fan doesn't come on, did you check the 10A fuse for the fan? If it's good, check for 12V at the end of the lead for the fan switch (red wire with white tracer). It's fed from the feed wire going to the fan relay (red wire with black tracer)

Thanks Gents!

Checked the fuse first. This is how I discovered why the previous owner bypassed the ignition and wired it to a toggle. I couldn't believe it was that simple. I also discovered why the signal lights didn't work. Somehow, he had reversed the leads going into the flasher! You should see the mess he wired up for the horn because the switch is bad.... yikes! I might take a pic just for laughs.

Thanks for telling me which wires to find!
