Well Ive almost finished the Z13's winter freshen up
Carbs back on and sync / balanced, air box and covers in place - she revs freely and cleanly, with a good smooth tickover.
First time Ive fired her up since fitting the louder pipes and there is certainly a bit more volume now




Just awaiting the (Kwak candy burnt lime) paintset from the sprayer - cant wait to get her back on the road again; winter seems to have gone on forever.

Well, I finally finished Zed13 freshen up (for this winter anyway) - collected my paintset a few days ago and I've been puttting the old girl back together.

I am pleased with the end result; its taken a bit of effort (CCT / Carbs Rebuild / Brake Rebuild / New Seat / Sports Exhaust / etc etc): and am glad I went with an alternate but genuine old school Kawa colour (Candy Burnt Lime) - seems to work with the lines and "era" of the bike.













Now if we could have some nice Spring weather - it would be lovely to put some miles on her.

That's a good colour, Tim. The finish looks to be to a high standard too. The bike looks very neat with lauri's stainless sport mufflers - are you pleased with them?
