Not sure if I will restore the Z1300 or make a Cafe Racer from it

It resembles a California (brand) sidecar, but that full-perimeter frame throws me! I can post a pic of it on www.sidecar.com to find out if you would like. Restored and color-matched to whatever bike it's hooked to, that hack would be pretty nice. Thanks for the pics!

US Bikes had these mounting brackets fitted to the frame as in the picture attached, this was not the case on the UK spec bike

Thanks for the offer it would be appreciated.
It appears to me that the chair was built so as to be used for either side of the bike because the guard over the wheel can be changed to the other side as can the suspension and wheel

Mark,

Are you implying that the brackets on the frame (nice photo!) are for sidecar mounting? According to documentation from Kawasaki, those brackets are for mounting the optional 46001-171 Deflector, Radiator.

Rick,
I have an inquiry in to the guys who should know what chair that is. If they don't know, NOBODY does, or, it's home-made! The basic shell really looks familiar, but not with that perimeter frame!
